What you'll do
Set up routing on at least one phone number.
Before you begin
Make sure at least one phone number is available in Communications settings.
Follow these steps
- Open Onboarding from the sidebar.
- In Messaging, open Route at least one phone number.
- You will be taken to Phone Number Routing Settings.
- Edit a phone number and assign routing to a user or team.
- Save routing changes.
- Return to Onboarding and confirm the step shows Done.
How you'll know it's done
The step turns to Done once at least one number is assigned to a destination. Accepted routing fields include:
- user_id or team_id
- routing_user_id or routing_team_id
If you get stuck
- Step still open: re-open the number and confirm routing is saved.
- No number to route: complete phone number setup first.
