Before you connect
- Use a Facebook account that can authorize the intended business and Page.
- You need permission to update Integrations in Crewvana.
- Decide which Page Crewvana should connect; the Page selection determines the lead forms and Meta conversation identity available to the workspace.
Connect and select the Page
- Open Onboarding and select Connect Facebook, or open Settings > Integrations.
- On the Facebook card, select Connect Facebook.
- Complete Meta's authorization flow and approve the requested assets and permissions for the intended business/Page.
- Return to Crewvana. If Page choices are shown, select the correct Page and select Save. Authorization without the final Page selection is not a complete tenant connection.
- Confirm the Facebook card shows the connected Page name.
- If the card shows Needs attention, read the reason. A User with integration-update permission may use Fix Webhook when that action is offered.
- Return to Onboarding. The step completes when the Facebook integration is connected; it does not wait for a real lead to arrive.
What the connection supports
The active Facebook Provider Account is shared by Facebook lead intake and Meta messaging. Crewvana can cache lead forms, subscribe the selected Page to the supported webhook fields, and correlate Messenger or Instagram conversations when the provider sends the required events.
External Meta requirements
Meta controls OAuth consent, Page roles, App Review, Advanced Access, business verification, and Page webhook availability. Messenger customer conversations require the applicable Page messaging permissions. Instagram messaging also requires the connected Instagram/Page relationship and the applicable Instagram messaging permissions. Crewvana requests supported scopes, but it cannot grant or bypass Meta approval.
If you get stuck
- No Pages appear: confirm the Facebook account has access to the intended Page, then retry authorization or reconnect deliberately.
- Connected card still asks for a selection: choose a Page and save it.
- Needs attention: use the displayed reason first; run Fix Webhook only with authorization because it updates the provider subscription.
- Onboarding remains open: confirm the card shows a connected Page, then refresh Onboarding.
This guide was verified without creating a Meta lead, sending a Meta message, changing a provider subscription, or reconnecting an account.
